About Our Church

Tregear Presbyterian Community Church in Mount Druitt, New South Wales, is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God.

Our vision: growing together as followers of our Lord Jesus and making known His truth, hope and love.

Tregear Presbyterian Community Church is part of the Presbyterian Church of Australia in NSW.

The Elders provide spiritual oversight for the congregation. They are supported and assisted at Tregear by other leaders from the congregation. Together they form the Church Leadership Team: Robert Blundell, Di Scott, Kalliopi Loucos, Jan Bensley, Stewart Rowe, Lyn Ubaudi our children and families worker, and David Newmarch, who works as Pastoral Assistant.

Rod Thompson, from Springwood Presbyterian Churches, is the interim moderator for Tregear.

Our Church Values

Bible Based Teaching

We value accurate preaching of the Bible as God inspired truth, studying and applying God’s word in a way that is appropriate to all people (e.g. Sunday School, Youth Group, Bible Study Groups, Introductory Discipleship groups) and celebrating Biblical traditions through participation and retelling of the Biblical narrative. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Church Family

We value the belonging that comes from being part of our church family where we love each other in social, practical and spiritual ways. Ephesians 4:15-16

Fellowship

We value regular fellowship with God and each other through Bible reading, preaching, open prayer, singing together, conversation and the practice of communion. Hebrews 10:19-25

Reaching Out

We value reaching our local community, the wider world and the next generations with the Gospel by compassionate engagement with those that don’t know Jesus, without discrimination, for the sake of Christ. Matthew 28:19–20

Compassion

We value compassionate engagement for justice and mercy with people who are endangered, poor or lost: spiritually and practically, globally and locally. Micah 6:8 Matthew 9:36

Personal Holiness

We value commitment to being transformed into Christlikeness. Ephesians 5:1-2

Maturity

We value the process of discipling to build up believers, helping them to develop and exercise their gifts and grow in Christlikeness, in order to serve the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13
