Jesus is the Real King (Acts Series 7)

It’s a battle between two Kings and the Kingdoms they rule. King Herod is a powerful human King who seeks to overcome and destroy King Jesus and his Kingdom. But the Book of Acts shows us that Jesus is the only REAL King. Using a shadow puppet play to bring to life Acts chapter 12, this Kids’ Talk shows once again that the mission of the Risen King Jesus cannot be stopped but those who stand against the Risen King Jesus will be stopped.

This begins our series on the Book of Acts. Acts is full of excitement and adventure as the risen King Jesus continues to work out his mission through his followers on earth. This Kids’ Talk video shows that it has been God’s plan from the very beginning of time that Jesus would be the Risen King. And now, as the Risen King, Jesus commands his followers to tell people about him. This mission will be a dangerous one and many people will try to stop it. Do Not Judge (Sermon on the Mount 4)

Enter the courtroom of Judge Scruff the Dog, where Mendel the Monster is on trial for having a speck of sawdust in his eye. What will the verdict be? What will the punishment be? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:19-21, that our hearts will always be where our treasure is. In other words, what we love most matters! And Jesus wants us to love God, our Creator, most. Breaking News! A puppet has been accused of murder just for saying he hated his brother! Puppet presenters Scruff and Gruncharina report on this major court case to help kids reflect on Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:21-26; that as people who are loved by God, Jesus wants his followers to speak kindly to others and resolve conflicts quickly.

Salt of the Earth (Sermon on the Mount 1)

This begins our ‘Sermon on the Mount’ series, starting with Jesus’ words from Matthew 5, “You are the salt of the earth”. Jesus’ people will be different from those who do not follow Jesus.
